Developing the railway of the future
In 2012, we set out on a mission to provide high-quality, innovative and sustainable infrastructure products to the UK rail industry and beyond. Part of the HIRD Group, Trough-Tec Systems (TTS) was initially established to supply Green Trough to the European rail sector – an entirely sustainable, lightweight polymer-based cable troughing powered by Furukawa Electric Group.
Since then, TTS has experienced year-on-year growth, rolling out Green Trough to new markets, and adding anti-slip walkways and an impressive array of accessories and product adaptations to its ever-expanding portfolio.
TTS is increasingly being called upon by road, power and energy firms to provide cable management systems that allow for quick, easy installation of cables, wiring, and pipes, without the hassle of seeing a site criss-crossed with deep excavations.
Despite being the youngest company in The Hird Group, our expert team knows the rail infrastructure and civil engineering sectors inside out, possessing combined railway knowledge of 170 years. Our unparalleled expertise, coupled with our innovative mindset, enables us to constantly stay ahead of the curve, supplying forward-thinking solutions that guarantee longevity, reliability and sustainability.
We are a curated team of experts with a desire to make a difference. Each team member is dedicated to bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to your project – no matter how big or small.
