Designed to allow for a 5-degree play, our Green Trough can cope with bends and curves, whilst remaining locked to prevent theft and vandalism. The lids of the units are fastened and secured in place, thanks to both their interlocking design and a bolt system that locks the lids to the bases as well as each other.. We also provide options which allow you to internally secure cables to the troughs as well. Green Trough lids also feature chevron surface protection for enhanced safety.
Green Trough, unlike concrete troughing, will not break, is environmentally friendly, and is lightweight – lowering the risk of injury. Made to be completely adaptable, you can drop in new sections as needed, and link it up to existing troughing systems, such as concrete.
TTS Green Trough is suitable for a wide range of civil infrastructure projects including rail, motorways, bridges, tunnels, water treatment plants, nuclear power, renewable energy and electric vehicle charging points.

We use external dimensions to help you find a direct equivalent to concrete. This is because Green Trough is manufactured from a lighter yet robust material. All Green Trough sizes offer greater capacity than their concrete counterparts.
Green Trough can safely tolerate loads of 4.9kN/500mm without sustaining any visible or structural damage.
Green Trough will self-extinguish in less than 60 seconds once the flame source is removed (based on JESC E7003). Green Trough is also halogen free.
A variety of lid fixing types are available to suit the clients security and access requirements.
Straights, bends, gradients and T-junctions are available in an extensive range of sizes, together with accessories and an elevated system.
Green Trough can safely tolerate loads of 4.9kN/500mm without sustaining any visible or structural damage.
Using Green Trough can significantly reduce labour time. Units can be modified on site using basic hand tools. Overall ‘installed cost’ is reduced when compared with concrete alternatives.
Resistant to damage from salt and snow melting agents. Excellent weather resistance. Equivalent to 50 years in compliance with our original accelerated UV test.
Approximately 70% lighter on average than conventional concrete alternatives. Green Trough can be installed by human power and is compliant with manual handling limits.
Joint system allows for minor obstacles to be avoided without the need for 45 degree units. A radius of 13-15m (left and right) can be created by using only straight units.
